Details (action items in bold)

1. Meeting called to order by Co-Chairs Jordan Brown and Sean Goulden at 1300.

2. Group discussed;

A. New local Standard Item Changes. Still waiting on final issue through the contracting arm of PSNS.

B. Hot work / Cold Work permit standardization. Feedback received from subcontractors

C. Incorporate the use of minimal CHMI’s submittals from AIT subs and MSMO subs as most of the same material is used as standard. This would reduce response waiting time for approval due to different contract numbers. Previous usage reports (CHMIS). C/106 is looking into the possibility of using existing usage reports-but keeping usage holders accountable for the material used during the month for accurate reporting

D. Group discussed; what is intent of issuance of new policy, what are benefits, does new process offer improvement, process has several areas that are redundant and seems to be quite cumbersome. Group recommended that the key members (ESH from each respective company) conduct meeting to evaluate and provide feedback. Received feedback from NASSCO and PCE of possible changes to HW Permit. Comments will be discussed at next meeting regarding HW permit

E. Requested volunteer to act as “Scribe” for monthly meetings. Disappointing that there were no volunteers to support this request.

F. Strongly encourage attendance from our members / local contractors. Several companies provide continued support – thanks. For those not “involved” we encourage your participation. See attached attendance sheet.

3. Action items as a result of working group;

1. List of attendees provided as attachment.

2. Evaluate and consider whether working group / committee should be initiated after current drafts of the VSRA Permit are reviewed

3. Possible changes for discussion-Current VSRA Hot work Permit attached
