PACSHIP has served the U.S. Military, including the Navy, Military Sealift Command, Coast Guard and Army, as well as a wide spectrum of commercial customers ranging from other shipyards to cruise lines, since 1969. PACSHIP is NAVSEA-certified as both a Master Ship Repair Contractor (MSRA) and a Boat Repair Contractor (ABR). PACSHIP facilities are strategically located to support the major West Coast Navy Fleet ports in Southern California and Puget Sound, Washington.

Experienced With All Types and Sizes of Surface Ships

PACSHIP’s ship repair and modernization experience base spans the entire surface ship-class inventory of the U.S. Navy, Military Sealift Command and Coast Guard. PACSHIP routinely supports the overhaul and modernization of nuclear aircraft carriers homeported in San Diego and Puget Sound; and recently supported the emergency fire-damage repairs to USS GEORGE WASHINGTON. PACSHIP performs both voyage repairs and major overhauls for Military Sealift Command assets including post-shakedown availabilities aboard MSC’s newest ships, the T-AKE 1 Class. PACSHIP provides production support for the maintenance of every-type of Navy surface combatant (CG, DDG, FFG) and auxiliary ship (LSD, LPD, MCM, YTB, etc.) homeported on the West Coast. PACSHIP also support the Coast Guard’s maintenance programs for vessels ranging from ice-breakers and high-endurance cutters to buoy tenders.
